Synopsis
Xiaobu and his grandfather live beyond the snowy mountains. To reach a school and the world outside, they cross glaciers in the depths of winter, pulling a sled, sheltering in caves and wading through icy rivers. At last, it is time to part. Then a butterfly asks Xiaobu a question about choice. Handcrafted shadow puppets and a few words tell their story.
